• Disable or limit features like chat history, memory, voice mode, and image generation.
• Set usage limits like “quiet hours” during which ChatGPT can’t be used or responds differently.

OpenAI is also introducing systems to detect signs of acute distress in teen users. If triggered, parents are notified — but they won’t be able to see chat transcripts.
